WARNING! Make sure that the vehicle belt is not twisted and that it lies
flat on the child's body.
WARNING! The vehicle belt buckle (31) must not be in direct contact with
the lower belt guide. If the belt whip is too long, the car seat is not suitable
for use in this position in the vehicle. Please contact the manufacturer of
your vehicle if in doubt.
Now finally also tighten the diagonal belt (35).
CONFIGURATION 3 (100-125 CM)
ACTIVATING THE SIDE PROTECTOR
The RECARO Salia 125 features the „Advanced Side-Impact Protection"
system (ASP). The ASP increases the protection of the child in the event of a
side impact by directing the forces around the child's body, thus reducing the
impact on the head.
• Pull out the side impact protection (25) on the door side.
• Make sure that the side impact protection engages.
• Check that it is ready for operation by pushing on the side impact protection
from the side. The ASP must withstand this without retracting.
NOTE! The side impact protection must not be used as a carrying handle or
boarding aid.
NOTE! If the side impact protection is against the door, fold it back in. Use
with the side impact protection properly retracted is still permissible.
NOTE! The car seat offers sufficient side impact protection even without the
side impact protection folded out and can therefore also be used without the
same. However, we recommend using the side impact protection.
WARNING! When installing the car seat in the middle seat position, do not
fold out the side impact protection.

AVVERTENZA! Assicurarsi che la cintura di sicurezza del veicolo non sia

AVVERTENZA! La fibbia della cintura di sicurezza (31) non deve essere a

Per finire, stringere anche il tratto diagonale della cintura di sicurezza (35).

ATTIVAZIONE DELLA PROTEZIONE LATERALE
RECARO Salia 125 possiede un " Advanced Side-Impact Protection" (ASP).
Il sistema ASP aumenta la protezione del bambino in caso di urto laterale
indirizzando le forze attorno al corpo del bambino e riducendo così l'impatto
sulla testa.
• Estrarre la protezione da urto laterale (25) dal lato della portiera.
• Assicurarsi dell'avvenuta attivazione della protezione da urto laterale.
• Controllare che sia pronta all'uso spingendo lateralmente sulla protezione
da urto laterale. Il sistema ASP deve sopportare questa azione senza ritrarsi.
NOTA! La protezione da urto laterale non deve essere usata come maniglia
per trasporto o aiuto per salire a bordo.
NOTA! Se la protezione da urto laterale si trova appoggiata sulla portiera,
richiuderla. È comunque ammissibile l'uso con la protezione da urto laterale
adeguatamente arretrata.
NOTA! Il seggiolino offre una sufficiente protezione da urto laterale anche
quando il sistema ASP non è aperto e può quindi essere usato senza di esso.
Tuttavia, consigliamo di usare la protezione da urto laterale.
AVVERTENZA! Quando il seggiolino è installato sul sedile di mezzo, non
estrarre la protezione da urto laterale.
