16. Declaration of Conformity (DOC)

product complies with the basic requirements and other relevant provisions of directive
1999/5/EC.


17. Maintenance and Cleaning

Maintenance and repairs must only be performed by a specialist or specialist workshop. There
are no parts that require maintenance by you inside the product. Therefore, never open it
(except for the procedure described in these operating instructions for inserting or replacing
the batteries).
A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient for cleaning.
Do not press on the display too strongly; this may lead to scratches or malfunctions of the
display, or even to the display breaking.
Dust can be removed easily with a long-haired soft and clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
To remove contamination at the outdoor sensor, use a soft cloth slightly moistened with
lukewarm water.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since
these may damage the casing or even impair function.
