11. Operation
a) Switching DCF-Reception On/Off, Starting Search for DCF Signal
DCF reception can be switched off if you want to set time and date manually (e.g. if DCF
reception is not possible, e.g. in basement rooms).
If required, you may also start scanning for the DCF signal manually.
Proceed as follows:
• Briefly press the button "+/
• Briefly press the button "+/
station starts scanning for the DCF signal.
Do not press any buttons on the weather station while scanning for the DCF signal; do not
move the weather station! Also observe the information on DCF reception in chapter 9. a).
DCF signal search may take a few minutes.

b) Manually Setting Time & Date
If no DCF reception is possible at the site of set-up, time and date can be set manually.

The DCF reception is hereby switched off automatically.
If you want to change only the 12h/24h display format or the order for displaying
date/month, switch on DCF reception again after leaving the setting mode (briefly

• Select 12 or 24 hour mode with the buttons "+/
