The regulation
Regulation is performed with a PI regulation
• The reference must be set.
Temperature slide must be allowed for if a zeotrope refrigerant is used and the subcooling is
measured with function "1" (SubCoolCtl = 1). You do not compensate for temperature slide if
the function has been selected at "2".
Setting:
The slide value must be added to the reference.

• The amplification factor must be set (if the Kp value is reduced, the regulation becomes
slower).
• The integration time must be set (if the Tn value is increased, the regulation becomes
slower).

Expansion valve function
One expansion valve type AKV is connected. The required capacity determines which one.
Monitoring of superheating
To ensure that the evaporator is not overcharged, the superheating (S2 – T0) is monitored. If
the superheating becomes lower than the set limit value, the controller will change over and
control the superheating. When the superheating again becomes higher than the set limit
value, there will be a change-back to regulation of the liquid temperature. Set the limit value
for the lowest permissible superheating.
