Measurement of subcooling
Measurement can take place in one of the following two ways:
1) AKS 32R and S4
The measurement provides information about the exact subcooling value. (S3 to be
mounted. It becomes involved in the regulation if the pressure transmitter becomes defec-
tive).
2) S3 and S4
This measurement only provides information about the temperature difference above the
subcooling unit. The function will lower the liquid temperature with the set value.
Setting
Define here the function the controller is to have:
0. Hotgas regulation
1. Subcooling regulation, as described above under 1
2. Temperature drop regulation, as described above under 2
SubCool Controller SubCool Settings
If the subcooling function is selected, the pressure transmitter must be connected as follows:
