● Have qualified personnel do maintenance and troubleshooting work.
● Stop the engine before doing any work inside the machine. If for any reason the machine must be operated while working inside, pay
attention moving parts, hot parts (exhaust manifold and muffler, etc.) electrical parts which may be unprotected when the machine is
open.
● Remove guards only when necessary to perform maintenance, and replace them when the maintenance requiring their removal is
complete.
● Use suitable tools and clothes
● Do not modify the components if not authorized.

Problem
The motor does not start up, or

Possible cause
1) Engine switch OFF
2) Lack of or insufficient oil in the motor
3) Faulty motor stopping device (oil-alert)
4) Lack of fuel in tank or fuel tap closed
5) Bad gasoline. Gasoline oxidizes and dete-
riorates over time, causing hard starting
6) Dirty or faulty spark plug
7) Cold motor
8) Fuel filter restricted, carburetor malfunction,
ignition malfunction, valves stuck, etc.
