PROBLEMS
Volt meter, Thermostat, and High Limit
LED are ON
The volt meter and thermostat LEDs are
ON, but the burner motor does not start
Only the volt meter is ON

CAUSE
Pulleys worn (Belts bottoming
out in grooves)
Oil or grease on belt
Improper belt installation. Belt
pried over pulleys using sharp
or pointed tools.
Drive misaligned
Dirt entering pulleys
Dirt or grease on belt or aged
belt
Worn pulleys
Dirt in pulleys
Check both high limit switches. Reset or replace.
The air pressure switch is in the closed position
(CI230).
Defective burner motor or capacitor
Burner wheel fan binding
If a thermostat is connected, ensure the set point on
the thermostat is above room temperature.
If a thermostat is not connected, check the thermostat
toggle switch is set to MANUAL.
Blower fan motor defective, replace motor
Faulty heater controller
Bad relay
Fan wheel binding

Replace pulleys
Clean pulleys or belt
Install new belt properly
Check and realign
Remove belt, clean the pulleys
