Setting the sensitivity

The sensitivity selection switch has 3 positions:
H (High),
M (Medium) y
L (Low).
The default sensitivity setting is M.
To adjust the sensitivity, select L or H.
If the angle of the beams has been changed, because of an obstacle, the sensitivity must
be set to H.

Testing the operation of the detector

Switch 1: Detection test
(Switch delivered in ON position by default)
Set switch 1 ("operating test") to ON and replace the
cover: the red indicator on the front comes on when the
detector is triggered.
Switch 1 MUST be returned to OFF after
test mode.
Switch 2 :
Do not change the position of this
switch (check that switch 2 is set to OFF).
Switch 3 :
Do not change the position of this switch (check that switch 3 is set to OFF).

Testing the operation of the detector with the system

Replace and
close the cover and
tighten the screw.

Arm the alarm system.
Wait for 2 minutes before passing in front of
the detector.
The operation of the detector must comply with
the choices in the table on page 5.
