Assigning the opening detector to a detection zone
Open the product by unscrewing the side screw.
For this product, the monitored zone and the trigger
mode are defined using switches located inside the
product. They must be configured when the product is
installed.

In case 2 sliding windows are protected by a single detector, the selected trigger mode will be identical for
both the windows.
Inserting the battery
Insert the supplied CR2450 lithium battery, with the + on top.
Keep the product open so that you can mount it on the wall.
If you will not be mounting the detector on the wall immediately, remove
the battery from the open detector to prevent the battery from draining.
Storing in the central unit/phone dialer
Activating the central unit/phone dialer storage mode:
If your system is already operational and the central unit/phone dialer is already installed, and you want
to add this detector, you can enter storage mode in 3 ways:
either from a computer by going to the "Device list" screen in the installer menu and pressing

(if necessary, refer to the alarm system installation manual);
or from the LCD keypad by entering OFF + user code, then menu + installer code + 753 (Open memory
■ ■
menu) + OK (if necessary, refer to the alarm system installation manual) ;
or using a previously stored remote control, by pressing OFF until the indicator goes out. You will hear a
■ ■
Beep!
on the central unit when you start pressing and then a second
the indicator goes out.
Storing the opening detector in the central unit/telephone dialer:
Reminder: maximum of 50 devices per central unit/phone dialer.
Press the key on the front of the opening detector: the red indicator flashes
and goes off + you will hear a

opening detector is stored in the central unit/phone dialer.
The opening detector is represented by the pictogram
system devices" on the computer interface.

Fixation
Précautions d'installation :
Utiliser uniquement le câble de 2 m fourni. Ne pas le rallonger. Par contre, il peut être raccourci,
sans taille minimale à respecter et servir ainsi pour protéger une 2
Ne pas pincer le fil.
Ne pas mettre au bout du câble autre chose que le bornier livré avec ce détecteur.
Ne pas installer le détecteur (a) sur une partie métallique ou dans un lieu confiné.
Ne pas utiliser de vis à tête fraisée pour fixer le bornier et l'aimant.
Vérifier auprès du fabricant de fenêtre ou de baie qu'il n'y aura pas de perte de garantie décennale
en perçant celle-ci.
Installation pour protéger 1 porte ou 1 fenêtre :
Bornier (c) :
Fixer le bornier sur la partie fixe (dormant)
de la porte ou de la fenêtre à protéger, soit
horizontalement, soit verticalement, à l'opposé
des gonds. Veillez à positionner les vis du
bornier en direction du plafond pour une
installation à l'horizontal, ou en direction du
mur pour une installation à la verticale.
Utiliser impérativement les cales d'épaisseur
(e) fournies à mettre sous le bornier (c) et sous
l'aimant (d) pour faciliter le passage du câble.
Aimant (d) :
Fixer l'aimant sur la partie mobile de la porte ou de la fenêtre à protéger, parfaitement aligné avec le
bornier, en plaçant impérativement la petite encoche du côté du bornier. Veillez à bien respecter les
distances maximales d'écartement entre le bornier et l'aimant, voir ci-dessous :

Détecteur (a) :
Pour une bonne propagation des ondes radio, fixer le détecteur
à au moins 10 cm de la partie métallique.
Remettre le capot du détecteur et le visser.
Couper le fil à la longueur désirée en veillant à ce qu'il ne soit
pas tendu, ni pincé.
Dévisser le support bornier pour raccorder le fil plus facilement
(pas de polarité).
Dénuder les 2 brins du fil et les connecter impérativement aux
2 borniers aux extrémités.
Positionner le cache bornier sur le bornier en veillant à ce que
le fil sorte bien par l'encoche et qu'il ne soit pas pincé.
Visser le bornier et son cache en veillant à ne pas utiliser de
vis à tête fraisée.
