Installation

Inserting the batteries

Open the battery compartment.
Insert the 3 alkaline batteries provided in the
battery compartment.
Make sure the batteries are inserted
the right way round (+/-). Make sure
that the ends of the batteries are
touching the battery contacts.
Storing the external wall movement detector in the
central unit/phone dialer
Setting the central unit/phone dialer to storage mode:
If your system is already operational, and the central unit/phone dialer is already installed, and you want
to add a detector. You can enter storage mode in 3 ways:
By going to the "Device list" screen in the Installer menu and pressing

Using the LCD keypad, and entering menu + installer code + 753 (open memory menu), see the alarm

Using a previously stored remote control, and pressing "OFF" until the indicator goes out. You will hear

a beep on the central unit.
Storing the detector:
Reminder: maximum of 50 devices per central unit/phone
dialer.
Press the button inside the external wall movement detector:
BEEP
You will hear a
The external wall movement detector is stored in the central
unit/phone dialer.

Assigning a zone to the external wall movement detector

The operating mode of the external wall movement detector can be selected:
Either using the 2 switches located inside the detector

Or locally on your computer, from the "Device list" page in the Installer menu.
■ ■
The choice of zone on the computer overrides the positions of the switches on the device.
Using the switches inside the detector:
If you choose to set the operating mode using the switches,
you can define:
Either a setting for operation in alarm mode
■ ■
Or a setting for operation in pre-alarm mode
