Cleaning the air filter

The air filter is located on the top of the motor part of the machine. The air
filter can be removed from the machine for cleaning (Fig. 11). Regular clea-
ning of the air filter with a dry brush is essential. Make sure that no foreign
objects get into the machine while cleaning the air filter.
WARNING!
The machine must never be operated without an air filter!

Storing the clippers

CAUTION!
Only store the clippers in dry rooms and in the case supplied. If
liquid is suspected to have entered the machine, do not switch
it on again. There is a danger of electric shock or short circuit.
Hand over the clippers to a service centre.
Get into the habit of always giving the clippers a good clean after use, oiled
and with the clipper relaxed in the equipment case, store the unit in a dry
and clean location out of the reach of children.
