3.3. Component review
1. Electric motor
The type of fuel motor depends on the type of cleaner (see technical data).
2. Pressure gauge
On this manometer one can read the pressure.
3. Burner
The type of burner depends on the type of cleaner. The 'green burner' is a burner that makes a higher efficiency.
The burner provides hot water. The temperature of the water is adjustable. The burner is double walled.
The outside wall is air cooled by the ventilator lateral on the burner chamber. On top of the burner one can find
the burner mouth. The water supply and outlet are both situated at the bottom of the burner.
Lime scale deposits while working at higher temperatures
The hardness of the water is possible expressed in French degrees (°F) or German degrees (°D).
The difference is noticeable in the following equation: 1 ° F = 0.56 ° D.
For example, water having a hardness of 40 ° F has a German hardness of 40 x 0.56 = 22.4 ° D.
See the in your area prescribed hardness of drinking water. Hard water can cause problems by means of lime
scale from 30°F or 17°D. When hardened water is now warmed / heated / or being pumped (or when hard water
comes in contact with air), this can cause calcification. Hard water is caused mainly by the presence of two com-
ponents: calcium and magnesium. So the harder the water, the more chances on lime scale! When cleaning with
high temperatures (or at using heated water) , you obtain thus faster calcification in case of a low hardness!
This can therefore result in loss of energy efficiency, higher energy consumption and reduced capacity of water
supply (including calcium deposits on the burner coil and other water connection parts).
We, DIBO NV, therefore recommend to decalcify the machines with a burner preventive additionally and after use
of hot water rinse adequate with cold water (if possible) to ensure optimum performance of the machine!
Pay attention on the turning direction of the motor: if the burner does not ignite at first start it is possible that
the turning direction has to be changed (changing the line wires).
These works should be carried out by suitable qualified personnel.
Contact your DiBO dealer in order to carry out these activities.
4. High pressure pump
The type of high pressure pump depends on the type of cleaner (see technical data).
5. Plug/socket
The implementation of the plug/socket is country dependent. The machine is provided from the factory without
plug. The DiBO dealer will connect the correct plug for delivery.
6. Spray equipment
The high pressure hose is coupled (rotated) on the spray gun.
Mount (tighten) the lance to the spray gun.
Because of that you have a great extend of free movement during the spraying activities.
Check regularly, during spraying activities, whether the lance coupling is still fixed to the spray gun.
Do not spray: release the lever in the handle.
Spraying: push the lever in the handle.
Spray protection: release the blocking pawl in the handle.
The machine is standard provided with a single spray lance.
At use of hose reel(s) (option): unroll the hose completely to obtain optimal functioning.
