Function of DIP-Switches
DIP-Switch 10: STOP function with key-operated ventilation button
STOP function initiated by means of a counter-command (Open or Close). Operation with key-operated buttons can
serve as a protective function for "power-operated windows".
DIP-Switch 11: Detector monitoring with 10KΩ Monitoring resistor*
For existing installations where the automatic detectors are monitored with 10k resistor.
DIP-Switch 12: Automatic closure system, automatic closure after xx min (set in the factory to 10 min). After each venti-
lation Open command automatic closure takes place after the prescribed time.
The following switch combinations provide special functions**:
Operating mode: SHE and ventilation with stroke limit
DIP-Switch 2 + 3 + 6 = ON (Combination with DIP-Switch 4, 5, 7 – 12 still possible).
Function: - Stroke limit at ventilation operation in direction Open "15 Sec.".
- Shut closed in direction Closed (e.g. push button "closing, malfunction") takes 3 minutes time until unlocking
the motor exits.
Note: The ventilation command "close" has to be preformed for at least 3 minutes before start up procedure.
Operating mode: SHE and ventilation without stroke limit
DIP-Switch 2 + 3 = ON (Combination with DIP-Switch 4, 5, 7 – 12 still possible)

DIP-Switches activation
When the settings of the DIP-Switches are complete the 230 V AC mains voltage is switched on or connected, as is the
emergency power battery. The new functions are transferred to the memory. For monitoring purposes a memory check
is made as soon as the central control system is supplied with power (mains and/or battery). Display by means of
approx. 3 secs long lighting up of the display

Service Port

Certain functions can be provided with further parameters via the service port (PC interface)*** using the appropriate
PC configuration software* and connecting cables*. The functions depend on the PC software version and the firmware
of the SHE panel control system. The service timer can only be Reset via the software (more information page 72 - 74).
