Montage de l'appuie-tête
Les supports d'appuie-tête se montent dans les tubes du dos-
sier. Le kit comprend un arceau pourvu d'un repose-tête rem-
bourré et de deux supports à monter en embout de tube (1).
Vous avez besoin des outils suivants : un cutter, un briquet et,
le cas échéant, un maillet en caoutchouc.
1. Découpez délicatement dans la toile du siège, par ex. à
l'aide d'un cutter, un trou de la taille des embouts (1) des
supports de l'appuie-tête. Poinçonnez la toile par le haut
et faites la découpe en suivant le rebord intérieur du tube.
2. Avec précaution, scellez les fibres sur le pourtour du trou
en les faisant fondre à l'aide du briquet.
3. Insérez les embouts (1) dans les tubes du dossier et
enfoncez-les à fond. Utilisez, le cas échéant, un maillet en
caoutchouc.
4. Vissez les cornières (7) sur les embouts (1).
5. Positionnez la bague (3) sur la vis (2) du serre-tringle et
insérez le filetage de la vis (2) dans la rainure de la cor-
nière (7). Placez une rondelle plate (4) et vissez-la d'abord
à la main à l'aide d'un écrou borgne (5).
6. Introduisez les tringles de l'appuie-tête (6) dans les
trous des serre-tringles (2) et serrez à la main les écrous
borgnes (5).
7. En faisant coulisser les tringles dans les serre-tringles,
vous pouvez régler la hauteur de l'appuie-tête.
8. En faisant pivoter la cornière et en faisant coulisser le
serre-tringle dans la rainure, vous pouvez régler l'écarte-
ment de l'appuie-tête.
9. Serrez ensuite toutes les vis.

Attaching the headrest
The headrest is mounted in the tubes of the seat back. The
assembly includes a headrest frame with a pad and two inserts
(1) that fit into the ends of the seat-back tubes.
To attach the headrest, you will need the following tools: a
utility knife, a lighter, and possibly a rubber mallet.
1. Insert the utility knife through the seat-cover material
covering the holes and carefully cut around the inner edge
of the tubes, making openings large enough to accommo-
date the inserts (1).
2. Carefully melt and seal the cut edges of material using the
lighter.
3. Push the inserts (1) into the ends of the seat-back tubes,
making sure they are fully inserted. Use the rubber mallet
if necessary.
4. Screw the two mounting brackets (7) onto the inserts (1).
5. Place the clamping rings (3) over the clamping bolts (2)
and insert the bolts through the slots of the mounting
brackets (7). Place washers (4) over the bolts and screw
on the cap nuts (5) without tightening.
6. Insert the tubes of the headrest frame (6) through the
holes in the clamping bolts (2) and screw the cap nuts (5)
without tightening.
7. The height of the headrest can be adjusted by sliding the
frame in the clamping bolts.
8. The distance between the seat and the headrest can be
adjusted by folding the mounting brackets inward or
outward while sliding the clamping bolts along the slots.
9. When the headrest is in the desired position, tighten all
bolts.
