The load cell PR 6201 is maintenance-free.
The contact surfaces between the load cell and load discs should be protected by
corrosion protection grease.
Off-shore all-weather protection spray can be applied extensively to the load cell in
aggressive environments.
The load cells PR 6201 are designed to be as robust as possible for the required
measuring accuracy and have a high reliability. In case an electrical or mechanical
defect nevertheless occurs, the load cell must be replaced.
Load cell repair is not possible.
Soiling on the load cell and moveable parts of the weighing installation must be
cleaned as quickly as possible

if it influences weighing, or
-
if it is corrosive to the cell or cable material.
NOTICE
Some cleaning agents may not be compatible with the load cell material.
When using cleaning agents, ensure that their compatibility with the load cell
material has been tested and approved (see Chapter 4.2).
