Starting for the First Time

Turn on Radio System
1. Switch on transmitter.
2. Switch on receiver.
3. Make sure servos function
properly.
4. Check the range of radio by
walking away from car.
Fuel Filling
1. Fill tank with high quality R/C
car glow fuel.
2. Close cap securely after filling.
Note:
Never use fuel near a heat
source or near open flames!
Starting Engine
1. Attach glow plug heater.
2. Line up the flywheel over
the starter wheel on your
starter box.
3. Press the car down to spin up
start wheel and bump the
flywheel with the starter wheel.
4. Once started, allow the engine
to idle to ensure engine
temperature and stable running.
Note:
See your manufacturer's engine
instructions for recommended
break-in procedures.
Over-Primed Engine
1. Remove glow plug from the
enginge using a glow plug
wrench.
2. Using the starter box, turn
over the engine until excess
fuel is cleared out of the
engine.
Note:
Point the cylinder opening
away from people and objects
as fuel will spray out of the
engine.
Stopping Engine
1. Run until fuel is depleted.
or
2. Restrict airflow to engine.
Note:
Be careful when stopping engine!
Do not touch engine, or muffler,
they may be very hot.
