Do not connect any cable other than that supplied by the manufacturer,
otherwise serious damage may be caused to the equipment.
1) Prior to connecting the equipment to a PC, disconnect both from their
respective power supplies.
2) Connect the end of the connection cable corresponding to the PROFI-70 to
connection [8] and the other end to the serial port of your computer or
portable serial printer.
Once the computer or portable serial printer has been connected, select on the
PROFI-70 the LOGGER operation mode. If PRINT function is selected data will be
dumped to the remote unit through the serial port.
The communication parameters used by the PROFI-70, and which therefore must
be defined on the remote unit (PC ) are the following:
