2. Connect the cable to the specific socket
and rotate it until hearing the specific click

6.1.3 Adjusting the handgrip
DANGER
Before adjusting the handgrip, disconnect the
machine from the battery backpack (Fig. 9).
1. Pull the rear handgrip release
lever backwards (Fig. 10.A);
2. start rotating the rear handgrip (Fig. 10.B);
3. Release the release control lever (Fig. 10.A);
4. rotate the handgrip until it clicks
into the desired position.
DANGER
Before using the machine check that the release
lever has completely returned to the block
position, and the rear handgrip is firmly attached.
DANGER
When working, the rear handgrip must
always be in a vertical position, whatever
the position of the cutting means.

6.2 SAFETY CHECKS

Run the following safety checks and
ensure that the results correspond
to those outlined in the tables.
DANGER
Always carry out the safety checks before
use. If any of the results fail to match the
indications provided in the tables below, do not
use the machine! Take it to a service centre
to be checked and repaired if necessary.
6.2.1 General check

6.2.2 Machine operating test
Action
1. Insert the battery
in one of the
compartments of the
battery backpack
(par. 7.2.3 ).
2. Use the connection
cable to connect the
machine to the battery
backpack (Fig. 8 ).
3. Select the battery
using the selector
(Fig. 5.B).
4. Engage the blade
control lever (Fig.
6.A) and the safety
switch simultaneously
(Fig. 6.B);

control lever (Fig.

1. When the blade is
engaged, pull the
rear handgrip release

6.3 START-UP

1. Remove the blade guard (Fig. 1.E) (if used);
2. make sure the blade is not touching
the ground or any other object;
3. use the connection cable to connect the
machine to the battery backpack (Fig. 8 );
4. select the battery using the selector (Fig. 5.B);
5. Set the cutting speed
