ENGLISH
If you have to leave the machine un-
attended, disconnect the spark plug
leads and remove the ignition key.
The engine could be very hot immedi-
ately after switching off. Do not touch
the muffler, the engine or the cooling
fins. This can cause burn injuries.
7.9
CLEANING
To reduce the risk of fire, make sure
there are no grass, leaves and oil on
the engine, muffler, battery and fuel
tank
To reduce the risk of fire, regularly
check the machine for oil and/or fuel
leaks.
Never use high pressure jets of water.
It could damage shaft seals, electrical
components and hydraulic valves.
Always clean the machine after use. Follow the
instructions below to clean:
• Do not spray water directly on the engine.
• Clean the engine with a brush and/or
compressed air.
• Clean the engine cooling air intake.
• After washing with water, start the machine
and the cutting device to remove any excess
water that could penetrate the bearings and
cause damage.
8 ATTACHMENT USE
Check that there are no foreign bodies
such as stones, etc. in the grass to be
cut.
8.1
CUTTING HEIGHT
For best results, cut one third of the height of the
grass. See fig. 23.
If the grass is long and needs to be cut signif-
icantly, mow twice using two different cutting
heights.
Do not use the minimum cutting height if the
surface is uneven.
The cutting devices could be damaged by hitting
the surface, undermining the top layer of the
lawn.
