TRANSMISSION OIL CHECK/TOP-UP
[4WD]
For the intervention timing see chapter
13.
For the type and quantity of oil see "0
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS TABLE"
9.7.1 Check/top-up (26)
1.
Place the machine on a flat surface.
2.
Check the oil level in the tank (26:A) The
level should be on the line.
3.
Top up if necessary
9.7.2 Change
Oil drain
1.
Run the machine at various speeds for 10-20
minutes to warm up the transmission oil.
Place the machine on a flat surface.
2.
3.
Engage the parking brake.
4.
Move the release levers to position A1 - B1
as shown in fig. (15:A; 15:B).
5.
Place a container under the rear axle and
one under the front one.
6.
Open the engine bonnet and remove the oil
tank cap.
For the oil drain plug, use only a 3/8"
square fitting. Other tools could dam-
age the cap.
7.
Remove the oil drain plug from the rear axle
(27:A).
8.
Remove the 2 drain plugs from the front axle.
Use a 12mm socket wrench. Drain the oil in
the front axle and pipes (28).
9.
Check that the gaskets on the front axle
drain plugs are intact (28). Refit the caps.
Tightening torque 15-17 Nm.
10.
Check that the gaskets on the rear axle drain
plugs are intact (27:A). Refit in the rear axle.
Tighten the oil drain cap to a torque of 5 Nm.
The oil drain plug may be damaged if
tightened with a torque greater than 5
Nm.
11.
Remove the oil from the deepest section of
the tank with an oil extractor (29).
12.
Dispose of the oil in accordance with local
regulations.
Filling
1.
Fill the oil tank with new oil
2.
Check that the rear axle clutch release lever

ENGLISH
(Translation of the original instructions)
3.
Start the engine. When the engine is started,
the front axle drive disengagement lever au-
tomatically moves inward.
Never operate the engine when the
rear axle drive release lever is engaged
and the front axle drive release lever is
disengaged (15:A; 15:B). The front axle
gaskets could be damaged.
If the engine is started indoors, an ex-
haust extraction device must be con-
nected to the engine exhaust pipe.
4.
Disengage the front axle drive release lever.
NOTE! The oil is quickly drawn into the
system. The tank must be continuous-
ly topped up, until it remains full, to fill
the circuit and to ensure that no air
is drawn into the system, which must
never happen.
5.
Adjust the accelerator pedal forward by lock-
ing it with a wooden wedge (30).
6.
Run forward for one minute.
7.
Move the wooden wedge and adjust the
accelerator pedal to the opposite position.
Continue topping up oil.
8.
Run in the opposite direction for one minute.
9.
Change the direction every minute as indi-
cated above and continue to top up oil until
there is no more bubbling in the tank.
10.
Switch off the engine, replace the oil tank
cover (26:B) and close the engine bonnet.
Run the machine at various speeds for a few
11.
minutes and if necessary adjust the oil level
in the tank.
9.8
BELT TRANSMISSION CHECK
Check that all belts are intact.
For the intervention timing see chapter
13.

STEERING
For the intervention timing see chapter
13.
9.9.1 Checks
Turn the steering wheel slightly back and forward.
There should not be any mechanical play in the
steering chains.
9.9.2 Adjustment (32)
If necessary, adjust the steering chains as
