Startup (continued)
5.2.3
Setting the bus termination
To ensure a reliable bus level, the bus must be terminated
at both ends with a terminating resistor. If the BTL is at the
end of the bus, termination can be done using the S1.10
DIP switch.
Termination if S1.10 = ON
5.2.4
PDO, data
The parameterization can be adjusted using the
configuration tools CANopen Configuration Studio (Ixxat)
or CANsetter (Vector). The parameterization can also be
done on another master via the SDO.
16 PDOs have been provided in the communication profile
in order to transfer data. Up to 8 bytes of the following
data can be integrated in a PDO:
–
Position data, 4 bytes, integer
–
Speed data, 2 bytes, integer
–
Cam status, 1 byte, integer
–
Analog values, 2 bytes, integer

If several errors occur simultaneously, the error
with the highest number will be displayed (e.g. if
a warning limit has been reached and, at the
same time, a guard event has occurred, the
guard event will be displayed).
