To install the standard press seal HRK correctly, you will
need the following tools and auxiliaries in addition to the
usual standard tools:
Tools:
Assembly set for HSI150 DG/HRK SSG (Article no.:
2102200600), consisting of:
1 Torque spanner 4-20 Nm, 1/4 Zoll
1 Extension, 100 mm, 1/4 Zoll
2 Extensions, 150 mm, 1/4 Zoll
1 Adapter for cordless screwdriver, square, 1/4 Zoll
1 Socket M6, with spherical head, 1/4 Zoll
1 Socket M8, with spherical head, 1/4 Zoll
Auxiliaries:
1 KR M.T.X. cable cleaner (Hauff)
2 Sliding caliper

Preparing for assembly
Clean the core drilling/wall sleeve and the media line.
Perhaps any existing breaks or blowholes in the core
drilling have to be repaired.
Check the diameter tolerance of the core drilling/wall
sleeve (D +2/-1 mm) and media line (d +1/-2 mm),
as well as outer or drilling dimension of the press
seal (see fi g.: 3).
The wall sleeve must be dimensionally accurate,
smooth and inherently stable.

• Cables may not have any continuous grooves
or damage in the sealing area (possibly push
cable back or forwards a little until grooves
are no longer visible).
• The inside of the wall sleeve must be clean, dry
and greaseless.
• If the press seal is installed in an exposed duct,
then the duct wall must be stabilised with a
clamping strap at the location of the press seal.

to cut into the individual selected segment ring of
