PalTurn™ is equipped with a switch box for protecting
the motor and the user.

Remote control with cable or cordless on request.

The standard cable button box is connected on the
control box of the load turnover system through a
"harting" type six-contacts connector. The end-user
can easily ensure connection of the PalTurn™ control
on the one of the lifting device (connection on site not provided by Tractel Solutions) using this
available "harting" type connector.
□
The turner can be single- or double-speed. (optional).
▪ The cable for power supply is separated and can be connected either on the floor or on the lifting device.
▪ The standard electrical supply to operate PalTurn™ is three-phase (3 live phases + 1 earth connection).
▪ Standard IP54 electrical protection index (protection against dust: no noxious deposit ; protection against
water ejections from all directions)/other index on request.

Storage
Correctly store the straps, in good conditions, and instructions for use with the PalTurn™.

▪ Keep the material in a dry place, protected from bad weather.
▪ Ensure that the PalTurn™ is stored with no loads attached.
Store with the pulleys symmetrically positioned as close as possible to the PalTurn
▪
imbalance.

Maintenance
Maintenance inspections and operations must be performed by qualified persons and specialists.
▪ Any deformed equipment must be immediately withdrawn from use.
▪ Specially check conditions of straps. In case of wearing out of the straps, you must imperatively contact
TRACTEL SOLUTIONS SAS so that it provides exactly the same straps according to recommendations.
▪ Regularly check the equipment is in perfect working order.
▪ Check the functioning of the material and visually inspect the straps before any use.
▪ Any part with a defect must be replaced by a TRACTEL SOLUTIONS SAS part.
▪ The gear motor should be drained every 4 years.
▪ Grease the bronze rings at least once a year or more depending on how frequently the turner is used.
The grease nipples are located beneath the PalTurn™ under the external ring supporting the tube. Multi-
purpose grease should be used. Extreme pressure (EP), Grade NLGI:2.
