Positioning straps onto the load
It is important to make sure that the straps are vertical so that the load moves as little as possible when
turning over.
A sign of incorrect positioning of the straps is a cracking and/or jamming noise from the straps in the pulleys.
If in doubt, it is absolutely necessary to stop the turn over and position again the straps and the load.
For a safe functioning, the load section directly below the straps must approximately have the same
perimeter.

Slipping phenomenon
When the straps slip on the pulleys or on the load, verify there is no greasy and/or wet substance or dust.
Verify also the surface condition of the pulley. It might be necessary to sand blast it again in order to get
good adherence.
To do so:
▪
Remove grease with a cloth/clean the pulley sheave and the straps.
▪
Let the surfaces dry before putting back the straps and closing down the pulley casings.
▪
Sand blast the pulley surface if necessary
Load length/distance between straps
In order to be more stable during the turnover, we advise, if possible, to make the distance between the 2
belts at least 1/3 of the length of the load.
The straps of the load turner must be uniformly distributed over the length of the load and according to the
load geometry
