6. Maintenance and periodic
verification
Tractel recommends to periodically check correct

operation of the load limiter and the accuracy of the
threshold settings in accordance with the application
regulations.
No special maintenance is required for this type of
device. When performing periodic inspection, check
that the connecting cable to the control circuit is
properly secured and is in good condition.

7. Prohibited use

Do not:
– Use the load limiter without first becoming familiar
with the user manual.
– Use the load limiter outside the validity periods
defined by the periodic inspection plan to which the
device is subject.
– Use the load limiter if its connection or condition are in
visibly poor condition.
– Shunt the electrical circuit controlled by the device.

8. Declaration of conformity

Copy of declaration conformity in appendix.

9. Transport and storage

During storage and/or transport, the product must be:
– Packed in its original packaging
– Stored in a dry location
– Stored at a temperature between -30°C and 80°C
– Protected from chemical, mechanical or any other
type of attack.
10. Product disposal and environmental
protection
The product must be disposed of in accordance with the
regulations applicable in the country of use.
The different product components must be recycled on
the basis of the table below, after separating metal and
synthetic materials. These materials must be recycled
by specialist organisations.
At the time of disposal, only trained individuals may
dismantle the product to separate its components.
