This manual outlines all necessary instructions for the safe and correct operation of the load turnover system
PalTurn™.

SHORT PRESENTATION OF THE EQUIPMENT

System for turning loads over, made up of a bar rotated by a gear motor driving
the load via straps fitted onto drive pulleys.
For safety reasons and efficiency of the equipment, one must become familiar with these instructions and
adhere to them before any use of the equipment.
The turning over of a load must be performed by qualified staff, strictly abiding by the safety instructions. The
operator should particularly watch out for the load slipping.
This manual should be made available to every operator. Extra copies of this manual will be supplied on
request.
▪ Never exceed the working load limit WLL (see signaling plate on the product).
▪ Below 20% of WLL, turn-over is not guaranteed, it is necessary to verify by a test that adherence
between the pulley and the belt is sufficient. Consult us if turning the load is impossible.
▪ Never alter the equipment by welding, piercing it...
▪ Never use the equipment for any handling other than the type it is designed for.
▪ Never transport persons using this equipment or its accessories.
▪ Never stand under the load.
When laying down a load, it must be left in a stable and safe position.

▪ Regularly examine the condition of the equipment (See maintenance paragraph).
▪ Before any use, check that the capacity of the lifting device is adapted to the load turner capacity,
including the weight of the device itself (refer to the weight indicated on the signaling plate).
▪ Only TRACTEL SOLUTIONS spare parts should be used.
TRACTEL SOLUTIONS declines any responsibility for the consequences due to disassembly or modification
of the product outside its supervision, especially in case of original parts replacement by parts of other origin.
Please consult us for any use in a specific or aggressive atmosphere (temperature, corrosion, acids...).
