5. Scope of Delivery

Before you start assembly, check the parts for the scope of delivery of your model.
• Fuselage with canopy
• Left and right wings
• Tail unit
• Fin
• Motor cowl
• Main landing gear, tail spur, wheel covers, wheels
• Small parts like screws and linkage parts
• Operating instructions
The following components not included in delivery are required for assembly and operation:
Assembly:
Soldering gun, cutter knife, screwdriver, 5- and 30-minute epoxy resin, possibly thixotropic agents (micro-balloon or
cotton flock) for thickening the resin, threadlocker varnish, super glue and sand paper.
Attention!
Observe the safety information of the respective manufacturer when using glues and work with glues in well-
ventilated rooms only.
Operation:
Flying requires a suitable (computer) remote control system with at least 5 channels.
If the model is equipped with an electrical motor, you need the matching flight controller and a LiPo rechargeable
battery 4S / 2200 mAh (discharge rate at least 30C) for this motor.
If the model is equipped with a combustion engine, you need a 2-stroke combustion engine with a displacement of 5
ccm, a gas servo with 20 Ncm thrust and a suitable tank system (tank, hoses, filters, etc.).
For both versions (electrical or combustion engine), 2 ailerons of the mini size with at least 30 Ncm thrust and maximum
thickness of 10 mm as well as 1 elevator servo and 1 rudder servo, mini size, with a thrust of at least 30 Ncm are
required. You also need a propeller matching the engine and a propeller tappet.
Practical advice:
For a model like the „Formula 1", we recommend use of a state-of-the-art 2.4 GHz computer remote control system
with mixing functions. In this case, you have the option of putting every servo to a separate receiver output to thus set
every servo individually.
