Press the key briefly to switch between display
of welding current, wire feed speed and material
dimension.

Press and hold the key to select welding programs.
A "P" and a figure will be shown in the display. The
figure indicates a specific welding program. A welding
program includes wire type, wire dimension and gas
type. The active welding program is marked with "."

welding program
When the machine is not welding, the set current/
wire feed speed/material dimension in MIG/MAG is
displayed or in MMA the set current. During welding
the measured current is displayed.
Material thickness (synergic MIG)
3
The function helps adjusting the current
according to material thickness (in mm). When
selecting material thickness an automatically setting
of current is calculated. Thereafter, the current can be
further adjusted.
Selected material thickness typical for the selected
material can be found under this function.
The material thicknesses are normally stated in rolls.
The material thickness function can be seen as a
good starting point in the selection of correct current
and voltage. A trimming of these parameters will
be required in almost every welding task in order to
obtain the most optimum result.

Press the
key briefly (4A):
Press the key briefly to switch between display of trim
voltage, voltage, arc adjust and seam average (welding
current/voltage).
Press and hold the key
Press and hold the key to select setting of secondary
parameters. Then use the control knob to adjust
values.
If the

parameters
Normally, the requested voltage or arc-adjust is shown
in the display in MIG/MAG, whilst measured voltage
is always displayed in MMA. The measured voltage is
shown during welding.
Voltage in volt
6
Set voltage is shown in the display when the
machine is not welding. The voltage can be set
between 10 V and 65 V. However, in MMA the voltage
is not adjustable. Measured voltage is shown during
welding.
Voltage trim (synergic MIG)
7
The welding voltage can be adjusted in
intervals determined by the welding program selected
in synergic MIG/MAG. Measured voltage is shown
during welding.
