Operation

7.11 Emptying

This function is only available in the manual mode and when
using a BADU Omni actuating drive. The "Emptying" function is
not assigned if a rod valve is used.
An extra button on the control system must be pressed in addition
to the operating mode for safety reasons. The BADU Omni
actuating drive moves to the emptying position. The filter pump
switches off briefly for this. The pump switches back on upon
reaching the emptying position. The pump then runs in the speed
stage that is set in manual mode for the filter pump.
In order to end emptying, either the mode must be changed to
automatic or the button on the control system must be kept
pressed for 5 seconds.
This is merely for safety reasons in case the button should jam.
The operator can then switch off the process manually without the
app.
The filter pump must be switched off when the pool is emptied. If
not, the pressure switch can no longer transmit a signal at input
I04 because there is no more water in the pool. The error
message "Pressure error" then appears and the filter pump
switches off for safety reasons. This error must be acknowledged
in the faults as soon as there is water in the pool again.

7.12 Floor drain ball valve when backflushing

The "ball valve for floor drain" is also switched on when the
backflushing function is started. This function is needed when the
pool is operated with a flat skimmer. In this version, the water
level would otherwise drop too quickly below the skimmer inlet
during backflushing.

7.13 Level regulation

The user interface shows the current switching state. SPECK
level switches – reed contact float sensors can be used.
