4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 LIGHT SWITCH
See fig. 5 (2, fig. 2)
0= Off
1= Parking lights
2= Dipped beams
3= Driving beams (do not use on road)
1. Push: horn.
4.2 IGNITION SWITCH
See fig. 6 (3, fig. 2) and consult engine Operating Manual.
Before starting the engine, check to make sure that the gear lever (4, fig. 1), the
creeper/reverse lever (3, fig. 1) and the PTO control lever (8, fig. 1) are in their
neutral position. Push the clutch pedal (1, fig. 1) in to close the ignition enable
switch and turn the ignition key as follows:

No circuit live
1 =
Instrument panel and indicator lights ON (operating status). Pre-heat
position (only if available): hold the key in this position until the glow
plug indicator light (1, fig. 3) turns off.

Engine starts.
When the engine starts, release the key which will automatically snap back to
position 1.
Check all the indicator and status lights.
Check the engine oil pressure warning light (4, fig. 3) which should turn off once
the engine has been running for a couple of seconds.
The thermometer needle (15, fig. 3), once the engine is hot and when the tractor
is running, should stay in the green segment (80-95°). If it does not, check the
engine cooling circuit.
