1 Use high-grade multi-purpose grease.
2 Lubricate the grease nipples in accordance with the lu-
bricating intervals (Table) using a grease gun.
3 Keep the V-belt clean and free of grease.

12.6 Preparing for maintenance work

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Set the engine speed to idle mode.
3. Switch off the ignition and remove the ignition key.
4. Secure the vehicle against rolling away.
5. Set the main switch to position "0".

12.7 Maintenance work

12.7.1Raising the attachment frame
Note
The raised attachment frame is automatically secured by a
special valve on the vehicle side. It is not necessary to se-
cure it manually.
1. Set the switchover valve to the attachment frame posi-
tion.
2. Completely raise the attachment frame.
12.7.2Panels / covers
WARNING
Risk of burns from hot surfaces
Allow the vehicle to cool down sufficiently prior to removing
the panels / covers.
Note
In order to carry out various maintenance work, the
panels / covers have to be removed.
12.7.3Side covers

Removing the side cover:
1 Open both locks.
2 Lift the side cover and pull it out to the side.
Attaching the side cover:
1 Insert the side cover at the side.
2 Mount the side cover at the upper edge and into the fix-
ing slot.
3 Slide the side cover into the correct position and secure
it using the locks.
