Step by step mounting procedure
Step 1
Ensure that the bearing size is compatible with the HMV(C) E nut size. For example, for
bearing 23936 CCK/W33 mounted direct on a shaft, use HMV(C) 36E. Otherwise the
pressure corresponding to the starting position must be adjusted.
Step 2
Determine whether one or two surfaces slide during mounting. See igures 10 - 13.
Step 3
Drive the bearing up to the starting position by applying the correct hydraulic pressure to
the HMV(C) E nut. See igure 14.
As an alternative, the SKF digital pressure gauge can be screwed directly into the hydraulic
