The target group of these instructions is electrical specialists and
instructed staff following EN/IEC 60079-14.
Attention: the operating permit expires in the event of non-compliance!
The temperature class and explosion group given on the junction box must
be observed.
The user has to consider all demands as per particulars given in EN/IEC 60079-
31, especially to excessive dust deposits and temperatures.
Conversions or alterations to the terminal boxes are not permitted. Atta-
ching additional cable and line entries or installation of terminals in context
of the equipment authorisation are excepted, see item 7 and 9. They must be
operated in undamaged and perfect working order in accordance with the
regulations.
Only original parts supplied by ROSE are permissible for spares and repair
work.
Lacquered enclosures must not be used in areas in which processes generating
powerful electrical charges, mechanical reaming and separation processes and
the emission and spraying of electrons (e.g. in the area of electrostatic lacque-
ring devices) take place or in which pneumatically conveyed dust is emitted.
Repairs affecting the explosion protection must only be carried out by
ROSE or a qualified electrician in accordance with national regulations
(EN/IEC 60079-19).
All foreign bodies have to be removed from the terminal box before usage.
There have to be taken special protective measures acc. electrostatics regula-
tion, see item 8.
