10. Flange enclosure
If flange plates have to be dismantled (e.g. to drill inlet openings), ensure
that the flange plate fits correctly and the mounting bracket fits well when
assembling in order to maintain the minimum protection class. The flange
plates should be mounted so that the IP protection class remains guaranteed.
Thus the exact fit and the integrity of the sealing system should be ensured.
11. Installation
Relevant EN/IEC standards and national regulations for equipment safety
laws are binding for setting up and operation in addition to generally recog-
nised technological regulations.
The electrical connection to the equipment must only be carried out by
qualified personnel (EN/IEC 60079-14).
Creepages and clearances according to EN/IEC 60079-7; Table 1 should be
observed.
The current load table located on the enclosure should be taken into ac-
count.
To maintain the ignition protection category, the line terminal should be
carried out with particular care.
The insulation must reach the terminal. The line itself must not be damaged.
The maximum and minimum cable cross-sections that can be connected
should be noted.
All screws and/or nuts on the connection terminals must be tightened in
accordance with the terminal manufacturer's torque specifications.
