Back pressure valves may fail earlier than expected.
– The pressure and temperature of the feed chemical must be below the corresponding
curve.
The pressure-temperature chart (P-T chart) gives guideline values for the material resistance of the
various material versions for feed chemicals against which the back pressure valves are resistant.
