Potential cause/solution
• Has the power plug been correctly inserted in the socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket and check the
fuse of your mains connection.
• Is the temperature control set to a low temperature level?
Select a higher temperature level, so that the steam can
not condense.
• It is possible that some smoke is produced the fi rst time you
use the device. However, this is harmless and will cease as
you use the device.
• Is the water tank empty? Refi ll it.
