5. Maintenance

For Maintenance of the Recirculation Cooling Unit
please refer to the Cooli Instruction Manual.
To ensure a longer lifetime for your Unitom Struers strongly
recommends daily cleaning of the cutting chamber.
Clean the cutting chamber thoroughly if the Unitom is not to be used
for a longer period of time.
Service and greasing of the quick-clamping devices is part of a
regular Struers Service Schedule.
Struers recommends that a regular service check be carried out after
every 1500 hours of use.
Please contact a Struers Service Technician to service the machine.
 Clean the cutting chamber, especially the cutting table with the
T-slots.
 Clean the protection guard window with a damp cloth. Do not
use the cleaning hose.
Do not clean the lamp glass with alcohol.
 Check the level of the cooling water after 8 hours use or at least
every week.
 Clean the cutting chamber thoroughly.
