Guarantee conditions for Steca Elektronik GmbH products
1. Material or manufacturing faults
The guarantee only applies to material or manufacturing faults as far as these are
caused by a lack of professional knowledge on the part of Steca.
Steca reserves the right to repair, adapt, or replace the faulty product as they see
fit.

General Information

According to the legal requirements, for all products the customer has a
 year legal guarantee.
For this Steca product we provide a voluntary manufacturer's guarantee to the
specialist dealer of 5 years from the invoicing or receipt date. This voluntary guar-
antee applies to products sold within the EU.
The legally prescribed guarantee rights are not limited by this guarantee.
In order to make use of the guarantee, the customer must provide proof of pur-
chase (payment receipt).
If the customer discovers a problem, then he/she must contact the installer or
Steca Elektronik GmbH.
3. Guarantee waiver
The guarantees on the Steca Elektronik GmbH product describe above in point 1
do not apply to cases where the fault is caused by: (1) Specifications, designs, ac-
cessories, or components added to the product by the customer or at the wish of
the customer, or special instructions from the customer relating to the production
of the product, the connection (of parts) of Steca products with other products
that are not explicitly approved by Steca Elektronik GmbH; () Modification or
adjustments to the product by the customer, or other causes due to the customer;
(3) incorrect arrangement or installation, incorrect or careless handling, accident,
transport, overvoltage, storage or damage caused by the customer or other third
party; (4) unavoidable accident, fire, explosion, construction or new construction
of any kind in the environment where the product is located, due to natural phe-
nomena such as earthquakes, flooding, or storms, or any other cause outside the
control of Steca Elektronik GmbH; (5) any other cause that could not be foreseen
or avoided with the technology used in manufacturing the product; (6) if the serial
number and/or the type number has been manipulated or rendered unreadable;
(7) the use of the solar products in a movable object, for example ships, mobile
homes, or others.
The guarantee stated in these operating instructions applies only to consumers
who are customers of Steca Elektronik GmbH or dealers authorized by Steca Ele-
ktronik GmbH. The guarantee mentioned here is not transferable to a third party.
The customer shall not transfer the rights and duties resulting from this guarantee
to any third party without the prior written approval of Steca Elektronik GmbH.
Additionally, Steca Elektronik GmbH accepts no liability of any kind for indirect
damage or lost profit. Unless otherwise specified by any applicable compulsory
legislative regulations, Steca Elektronik GmbH shall also not be liable for any other
damages other than those for which Steca Elektronik GmbH has hereby explicitly
accepted liability.
