Insert a UTP cable of the correct length through the eye bolt.

NOTE
Make sure that you connect the correct cable. Use a 1-to-1 cable for connection

to a network (switch or hub). Use a crossover cable for direct connection to a
PC (see pages 3 and 45).

Connect an RJ45 plug to the UTP cable.

NOTE
If you use a so-called "self-sealing grommet" instead of an M16 eye bolt for

passing the cable into the connection box, then you can use a pre-plugged
MTP cable.

Connect the plugged cable to the Ethernet socket of the StecaGrid Con-

nect.
NOTE
You normally hear a "click" when the RJ45 plug is correctly inserted into the

Ethernet socket.

Tighten the eye bolt to protect the inside of the connection box from

moisture and dust.
