Lubrication of levers, pedals, etc. Wheel removal
e Lubricate the pivoting parts of the brake 1. Elevate the wheel by placing a suitable
lever, standunderthe wheelaxle.
• Lubricate the shaft of the brake pedal. 2. Remove the nuts from the wheel.
3. Remove the wheel assembly.
Recommended lubricant:
Yamaha chain and cable lube \
or SAE 10W30 motor oil
Knuckle shaft
Lubricate the knuckle shafts.
Recommended lubricant"
Lithium soap base grease
Wheel installation
When installing wheel, reverse the removal
procedure taking the following steps:
1. Tighten the wheel nut.
Wheel nut torque:
Front: 28 Nm (2.8 m. kg, 20 ft. Ib)
Rear: 45Nm(4.5m.kg, 32ftolb)
