Inactive/Sensor: The connections are needed for
extra sensors (sensor 3 and 4). Function only if
no single control unit is connected.
Digital/building control system: A 3-level single
BCS (building control system) circuit (e.g. KNX)
can be constructed via an actuator for adjusting
the ventilation level.
9.2.4 Single control unit: Blocking OFF
Parameters: Single control unit blocking ventila-
tion level Off
Set value: Active, Inactive
Active: Ventilation unit's switch-off function with
single control unit blocked.*
Inactive: Ventilation unit's switch-off function with
single control unit activated.
* If the switch-off function is disabled, the ventila-
tion unit runs with at least interval ventilation
(ventilation for humidity protection).
9.2.5 Switching contact function
NOTICE With pre-heating/supplementary
heating, incorrect installation will result in
unit damage.
If external pre-heating or supplementary heating
is selected, the power supply for the component
should be switched via an external relay.
Parameters: Switching contact
Set value: Alarm, filter message, operating dis-
play, shutter, supplementary heating, pre-heating,
brine EHE (unregulated pump), cooling. One of
the aforementioned external components can be
switched with the potential-free switching contact
(max. 5 A) of the basic circuit board (main circuit
board).
Additional settings for supplementary heating
switching points
1. Under `Switching contact´, select the `Supple-
mentary heating´ parameter.
2. Under `Supplementary heating´
• Set `Supplementary heating´ parameter to
yes.
• Adjust switching point with `Hysteresis set-
point temperature´.
• Set `Supplementary heating´ parameter to
no.
Additional settings for brine earth heat ex-
changer switching points
3. Under `Switching contact´, select the `Brine
earth heat exchanger´ parameter.
4. Under `Brine earth heat exchanger´
,• set the `Brine earth heat exchanger´ para-
meter to yes.
• Adjust switching points using `T air inlet off-
set heating´, `T air inlet hysteresis heating´
and `Air inlet hysteresis cooling´ parameters.
• Set `Brine earth heat exchanger´ parameter
to no.
9.2.6 Bypass
Parameters: Bypass
Set value: No / Yes
When retrofitting a bypass, activate the bypass
function.
9.2.7 Preheating register
Parameters: Preheating register
Set value: No / Yes
When retrofitting a preheating register, activate
the preheating register function.
9.2.8 Heat exchanger type
Parameters: Heat exchanger type
Set value: Sensitive / Enthalpy: Depending on
unit equipment
If retrofitting, activate suitable heat exchanger
type.
9.2.9 Acknowledgement of external safety
device
Parameters: Acknowledgement of external safety
device
Set value: Automatic / Manual: Depending on
unit equipment
Automatic: after the safety chain has been inter-
rupted, unit operation is started automatically.
Manual: after the safety chain has been interrup-
ted, unit operation should be restored by means
of manual acknowledgement.

9.2.10 Factory setting for control

Parameters: Factory settings
Set value: Customer level / Customer and in-
staller level
Resetting customer level
Resetting customer level: Owner and tenant set-
tings are reset to the factory setting. Installer set-
tings at installer level are retained.
Reset customer & installer level:
Factory setting is restored (complete reset).
