6. Remove connecting cable. Fit service cover
and front plate.

11.8 Operation via app / web tool

1. Make the connection as described in the in-
stallation instructions for the ventilation unit.
Set the AIR@home parameter to yes in the
web server under Settings/Internet.
2. Call up AIR@home web tool (www.air-
home.de) or AIR@home APP.
3. Log in with the access details emailed to you
during registration.

11.9 Factory settings

Unit settings are permanently lost with the
factory settings. Back up the data with the
commissioning software before resetting.
The unit settings can be reset with the two factory
settings functions.
Resetting customer & installer level
Complete factory setting, all unit parameters are
reset to the factory settings.
Resetting customer level
All settings undertaken at customer level are re-
set to factory setting. The settings undertaken in
the installer menu are retained.

12 Functions of additional circuit boards

12 Functions of additional circuit
boards
12.1 Additional circuit boards 1 (ZP
1)
There is 1 slot for optional additional circuit
boards (ZP 1 or ZP 2) on the control console. In-
stallation is as described in the accessories in-
structions.
DIP switch setting options (only 1 function
can be set).
Brine earth heat exchanger, zone ventilation, 3-
way air shutter or supplementary heating.

12.1.1 Brine earth heat exchanger control

The outside air can be heated in the winter and
cooled in the summer with a brine earth heat ex-
changer.
No extra temperature sensor is needed to control
the brine circulating pump (controlled or uncon-
trolled brine CP). This is handled by the air inlet
temperature sensor in the ventilation unit.
If heating, the brine CP is controlled using the
unit-specific frost protection strategy → Frost pro-
tection strategies [} 53]. For further information →
Brine earth heat exchanger (ZP 1, HP switching
contact) [} 46].

12.1.2 Zone ventilation

Setting the zone ventilation → Zone ventilation
(ZP1) [} 47].
Units with zone ventilation can feed different
amounts of the volumetric air flow provided into 2
room zones. For example, into zone 1 (living
areas) and zone 2 (bedrooms).
• The volumetric flow of one zone can be re-
duced by up to 60 %.
• Zone ventilation is only active in the nominal
ventilation level. It is deactivated in the other
ventilation levels or if the bypass is open.
Zones 1 and 2 are set in Auto Time operating
mode using a time programme. Four time seg-
ments can be saved per day with supply air
volumes defined for zones 1 and 2 → Ventilation
time programme [} 42].
Zone Sensor is set in Auto Time operating mode
using a time programme. The air quality values
determined with CO2 and/or VOC and humidity
sensors are used for demand-based zone ventila-
tion.
