The ventilation unit controls the amounts of sup-
ply air automatically. Four time segments can be
saved per day with supply air quality defined for
the Zone Sensor → Ventilation time programme
[} 42].
12.1.3 Air earth heat exchanger 3-way air shut-
ter
The 3-way air shutter controls the transport of
outside air from outside via an air earth heat ex-
changer or directly. The air shutter is opened or
closed for this purpose.
During the transitional times in particular, in-
stances may occur when the outside temperature
is warmer than the temperature of air passing
through the earth heat exchanger.
If heating, this means that the outside air can be
used more efficiently than the outside air passing
through the geothermal heat exchanger.
Above and below the set temperature limits, →
(3-way air shutter (ZP 1) [} 47]), the outside air is
drawn in via an air earth heat exchanger.

12.1.4 Supplementary heating control

NOTICE Incorrect installation will result in
unit damage.
If supplementary heating is selected, the power
supply for the component should be switched via
an external relay.
NOTICE Unit damage from incorrectly con-
necting the power supply.
The load current must be provided via an ex-
ternal supply. The load current must not be
switched via the main circuit board.

12.2 Additional circuit board 2

There is a ZP1 or ZP2 slot on the control console
for optional additional circuit boards. The installa-
tion is as described in the accessories instruc-
tions DIP switch setting options (only 1 function
can be set).

The installer level cannot be selected via KNX.
Use the commissioning software, the AIR@home
APP or the AIR@home web tool for this.

14 Dismantling

Dismantling only permitted by a qualified elec-
trician.
15 Environmentally responsible
disposal
The unit and the packaging contain parts that can
be recycled, and should not end up in the do-
mestic waste. Dispose of the packaging material
and the unit in an environmentally-friendly way, in
compliance with the regulations valid in the coun-
try where you are.
