6.2 Laterals mount on the backpost

These laterals are not compatible with the detachable option of the
Valeo back. This lateral model interferes with the back when it is being
detached.
Place the clamps at the desired height on the wheelchair cane.
Assemble the bolts (A)*, the half cylinder (B) and the column nut (C) as shown in Figure
13. Tighten slightly at this stage to make adjustments possible. Make sure the bolts (D
and E) and the lateral plate bolts (F) are not too tight to be able to adjust at will. Position
the lateral using the 2 pivot points (G) and sliding the clamps on the wheelchair cane
for the height setting.
Secure the bolts for final adjustments. For the height setting range when using laterals
plate, refer to the section 5.1.
Note: 2 screw lengths are included to use with ¾" and 1" tubes.
