The charger starts the initial charging process.

Interrupting initial
charging
Activate initial charging, otherwise the charger will remain in

a dwell state:

CAUTION! Risk of sparks if the charging leads are disconnected too soon. Before
disconnecting the charging leads, press the Stop/Start key to end the charging
process.
To end initial charging:

Disconnecting the charger
- Disconnect the black charging lead from the negative pole (-) of the battery
- Disconnect the red charging lead from the positive pole (+) of the battery
NOTE! Risk of damage to connection sockets and connecting plugs. Do not dis-
connect or unplug charging leads while charging.
Press the Stop/Start key while charging

The charger prompts the user to close the
plugs on the battery.
Press the Stop/Start key
If initial charging is successful, a message
appears on the charger.
Press the Stop/Start key
NOTE! If the battery never
reached a voltage of 15.8 V during
initial charging, the notification
"The required voltage was not
reached" appears.
The charging process is interrupted
