Setting the braking strength when the braking takes affect
Presetting:
drag brake
Selection:
drag brake, 0%, 20%, 40%
In the standard setting, the brake force is set to the drag brake value. This will let the braking
action start softly without a break. The braking action can optionally also be set to 0%, 20%
or 40%.
8 Neutral operation
Presetting:
9% (normal)
Selection:
6% (narrow), 9% (normal), 12% (broad)
A neutral zone can be set around the neutral position of the accelerator/brake lever, in which
the lever can be moved, without starting the motor or triggering the braking action.
 Timing (only with sensorless motors)
Presetting:
15.00°
Selection:
0.00°, 3.75°, 7.5°, 11.25°, 15.00°, 18.75°, 22.50°, 26.25°
Different brushless motors need different control by the speed controller. It is therefore helpful
for ideal performance to adjust the timing to the respective selected motor.
10 Overheating protection on/off
Presetting:
overheating protection on
Selection:
overheating protection on
Overheating protection off
The green LED will blink if the overheating protection cuts off the power supply.
The overheating protection can be turned off to prevent loss of control due to a motor cutoff
in racing operation.
11
Motor rotation direction
Presetting:
counterclockwise
Selection:
counterclockwise
Clockwise
Look at the motor shaft from the front (rear motor cover facing away from you) and move the
control level in the "forward drive" direction.
In the presetting, the motor shaft rotates counterclockwise.
