regulations to be observed when working
with the machine.
Symbols in the manual
Warning symbols with informa-
tion on damage and injury pre-
vention.
Instruction symbols (the instruc-
tion is explained at the place of the
exclamation mark) with information
on preventing damage.

improving tool handling.

Read the operating instructions ca-

The cutting head will con-
tinue to rotate for a few
seconds after the equipment
has been switched off. Keep
hands and feet well away.
Do not expose the equipment to
the damp. Do not work in the rain
and do not cut wet grass.!
Remove the plug from the mains.

General safety instructions
Before working with the equipment,
familiarise yourself with all the op-
erating parts. Practise handling the
equipment and have the function,
mode of operation and working
techniques explained by an expe-
rienced user or an expert. Ensure
that you can switch off the equip-
ment immediately in an emergency.
Improper use of the equipment can
result in serious injuries.
