Behaviour in case of emergency
In case of accident, first aid kit must always be available in
the place of your work in accordance with DIN 13164.
Material taken out of the first aid kit needs to be
supplemented right away.
If help is needed, please provide the following details:
Place of accident
Accident nature
Number of injured persons
Injury type
Provide necessary first aid treatment corresponding to the
injury nature and seek qualified medical help as soon as
possible. Protect the injured person against other injuries
and calm him/her down.
Disposal
Disposal instructions are illustrated in the form of
pictograms on the device or packaging. Description of the
pictograms is given in "Identification" chapter.
Disposal of transport packaging
Packaging protects the device against damage during
transport. Packaging materials are usually selected
according to their effect on environment and disposal
methods and can therefore be recycled.
Returning of the packaging back to circulation saves
resources and costs for packaging disposal.
Parts of the packaging (e.g. foil, styropor) may be
dangerous for children. Risk of suffocation!
Keep these parts of the packaging out of reach of children
and dispose as soon as possible.
Operator requirements
The operator must carefully read the Operating
Instructions before using the appliance.
Qualification
No special qualification is necessary to use the appliance
apart from detailed instructions by an expert.
Minimum age
The appliance may only be operated by persons over 18
years of age who have been instructed in handling and
operating the appliance. Young people between 16 and 18
years of age may only work with the appliance when
supervised by an adult.
Training
Using the appliance only requires appropriate instructions
by an expert or reading the Operating Instructions. No
special training necessary.
Installation and first putting into operation
Safety instructions for first putting into operation
If the saw is defective, it may only be repaired by
authorised service staff. Original spare parts to be used
only.
We would like to inform you that according to
applicable standards we do not take any
responsibility for a damage possibly caused by our
machines in the following cases:
It is allowed to cut wood with maximum diameter of
to prevent dangerous reversed cutting.
The minimum diameter is 80 mm.
Unauthorised repairs executed by unauthorised service
staff.
Use in conflict with the designation or more precisely a
failure to meet the use as designated provisions.
Saw overloading by continuous operation.
This machine has not been designed to be used by
persons (including children) with any physical, sensory or
mental limitation. Also persons with a lack of experience
and/or knowledge of the machine are prohibited to work
with the machine, unless their safety is supervised by a
competent person or unless such persons have received
instructions from such competent person on how to use
the machine. Children must be watched to make sure they
do not play with the machine.
Warning instruction:
Extension cable with a cross section of 1.5 mm² and 2.5
mm² from the length of 20 m.
Never start the machine when being stopped.
Starting interval of at least 1 minute.
Caution:
To make sure the brake switch works as it should, it

is absolutely necessary to use a cable with 5 cores.
Never start the machine again when being stopped.

DO NOT USE circular-saw blades made of high-alloy high-
speed steel.
Use only circular-saw blades meeting the EN 847-1
standard with details on the manufacturer and dimensions
meeting the requirements for a circular-saw blade. Make
sure the circular-saw blade is always sharpened and has a
sufficient wheelbase.

Emergency switch
The machine has been fitted with an emergency switch.
After pressing the switch, the power supply to all machine
drives is immediately interrupted and the brake activated.
- Interruption of power supply to brake after braking is
finished.
Electrical safety:
CAUTION! Electric shock!
There is a risk of electric shock!
Unplug the machine before removing any failures and
servicing the machine.
To be used on connection with a safety switch against
stray current (RCD) only!
Please ask an electrician.
The type label details must correspond to the electrical
network details.
Protect the cable against excess temperatures, oil and
sharp edges.
Operation
If the table does not automatically return any longer as the
spring is worn out or defective, cutting must be stopped
until the spring is repaired or replaced.
The clamping tip and cover of the circular-saw blade have
been fitted with gear teeth preventing the cut material from
spinning. When cutting, the cut material is put on the saw
table and the right hand presses the clamping tip down.
Right hand can be relieved by shifting the table with your
thigh. After cutting is finished, the table on ball bearings is
returned back to the initial position by spring tension.
