•
Unpack the saw and check it for any damage during
transport.
•
The machine may only be operated outdoors.
•
The machine must stand on a horizontal and level
floor and be firmly anchored to the base using the
fixing holes in the foot. The ground around the
machine must be free of any waste, slippery places
and places with a risk of tripping.
•
All covers and safety equipment must be fitted
properly and the circular-saw blade must rotate freely.
•
Check the circular-saw blade if fitted firmly, if not dirty,
damaged and if sharpened properly. Regrind or
replace any blunt circular-saw blade.
•
Check all the screwed connection if tightened
properly.
•
Check whether the machine cannot throw off any
undesirable items.
•
The source of current must be protected with a safety
switch against stray current of 30mA.
•
Before plugging the machine, make sure the details
on the type label correspond to the system details.
•
Important: It is necessary to pay attention to the
engine rotation direction. To check it, switch the
engine on and off for a short time. The circular-saw
blade must rotate from the left in the clockwise
direction (see the rotation direction arrow on the
circular-saw blade). If this is not the case, the rotation
direction must be changed using the phase converter
on the connecting plug. Turn the phase converter in
the connecting plug by 180° using a screwdriver (see
pic. 2).
•
Cutting several pieces of wood or a wood bundle at
the same time is not allowed - risk of injury!
•
Before pressing the On/Off button, make sure the
circular-saw blade is fitted properly and the moving
parts rotate easily.
Caution: Machine to be operated by one person
only. The operator must make sure that other persons are
necessarily in a safe distance from the saw during the
operation; the minimum distance is 2 m!
Caution: Pieces of wood that are too short, too light
or too thin to be caught by the barbs in the load cradle
must not be processed by the machine. Follow the
Technical Specifications.
General safety instructions
PLEASE FOLLOW CAREFULLY THESE
INSTRUCTIONS TO ENSURE A HIGH SAFETY LEVEL:
Protective equipment
All the screwing and connectors and protective
equipment and the circular-saw blade need to be
checked before being put into operation if tightened or
more precisely fitted properly.
It is strictly prohibited to dismount the protective
equipment fitted on the machine, change them, remove
them for any purpose or fit other protective parts. Works
connected with tool change, maintenance and servicing
that may only be performed with protective parts being
removed may only be performed with the power supply
being interrupted by unplugging the machine.
Power supply interruption just by turning the switch off is
not enough!
After finishing your work, refit all the protective equipment
to where it belongs before plugging the machine and
putting it into operation.
