Pointing the Receiver

NB : The position of the Receiver in relation to the cable carrying the
pulsed current is important. It affects the detection.
You will note when manipulating the Receiver, that when pivoting
it by 90° through its longitudinal axis (line of sight) that the detection
goes from Max. to Min., even to zero detection. This is due to the
laws of electromagnetism.
(To obtain max. detection, the magnetic field must go through the
axis of the coil). In fact, by using the method of maximum, the user
is naturally placed in the max. detection position.
On the other hand it is this particular effect of the Receiver position
which is used in the method of minimum.
